This is the monthly installment of softywolf’s Top Ten Sterek Fics (x). The list is in no particular order and my favourite(s) has an asterisk (*) beside it. The theme for each month is chosen either by poll or by me. You can check my #topten tag for previous months. Bottom graphic by the amazing Ruby.
December’s theme is Christmas (obviously).
When You Stop Believing in Santa You Get Underwear* by owlpostagain (T | 7817)There are some salvageable things though. A virtually untouched heavy slate sign that says, engraved in an ornate script that confirms at least one person in the Hale family had a sense of humor (Stiles has a horrible suspicion it might have been Peter), When You Stop Believing in Santa You Get Underwear.hooked on (dangling by a yarn)* by extantecstasy (T | 19132)One hundred days, ten scarves, one Christmas, and Stiles’ dormant magic has to ruin everything.Part Of My Melody by hayesgeneration (M | 21772)Derek is a professional classical musician who has found himself lost without a muse, without goal and without even a hint of spark. He’s almost settled nearly contently (if not slightly unwillingly) on having to live his life as a recluse, when his sister finally grows tired of his antics, giving him a Christmas ultimatum.bah humbug (no, that’s too strong) by mywholecry (T | 6384)Derek buys locks for his stupid burnt-out shell of a home, even though half of the place is exposed to the open air and it’s not exactly the fortress of solitude that a tragic anti-hero like Derek really deserves. He installs them on the front door one by one while Stiles sits cross-legged on the porch and watches, leans backwards onto his hands.Secret Santa by Jebiwonkenobi (T | 10866)Stiles was all odd angles and squirming. He shoved words into spaces where they shouldn’t go. He stood his ground when he should have run. He helped and protected Derek and the pack without ever asking for anything in return. Derek found himself wanting a lot of things from Stiles that he hadn’t allowed himself to want from anyone in a long time, which made Stiles feel like a cliff that he was in danger of leaping off of.Red Against the Snow by Ember (E | 34221)Stiles is trapped for the holidays in the cabin of a strange man/hermit named Derek. A strangely friendly wolf befriends Stiles during his stay. It’s up to the teenager to find out why Derek has secluded himself from society, what the feelings he’s beginning to have means, and what the connection between the mysterious man and the mysterious black wolf is.Beacon Hills, I Love You by pokingbeauty (T | 20674)It’s coming on Christmas, they’re cutting down trees, they’re putting up reindeer and singi—wait, no, that’s a Joni Mitchell song. In the weeks leading up to Christmas, Stiles realizes he may have a bit of a crush on Derek; Chris Argent doesn’t know how to Christmas shop; Derek has a family; and Jackson has issues. (Inspired by ‘Love, Actually’ and ‘New York, I love you/Paris, Je t’aime’ with a Teen Wolf twist.)taking the bus to chinatown by hit (T | 13303)Stiles’ home economics teacher forces him to knit mittens. Nobody wants Stiles’ mittens, but then Stiles offers them to Derek, and Stiles is pretty sure Derek does these things purely to drive him crazy. What else could it be?The Ribbon On My… by dedougal (E | 11356)Derek had assumed that he and Stiles would give each other simple things, swapping books or DVDs or jokey gifts, random dollar store toys and junk food.A Christmas Hale by Captain_Loki (M | 14298)The boys spend Christmas together. There’s copious amounts of sarcasm, some sharing of emotions and somewhere along the lines feelings develop.
It took me three minutes to understand the joke and now I’m dying
"I let things go a little bit during the hiatus, then when filming starts up again I’m back on the diet. It’s funny because on the DVDs you get the montages of us all with our shirts off so you’ve gotta stay in shape. That’s the most difficult thing about doing the show – I really miss being able to eat bread."
for how many years do you think would dean hum the ghostbusters theme every time john found a spirit hunt
and sit in the back and whisper “hey. hey, dad. are you afraid of ghosts?”
and john would roll his eyes in the mirror but give in and mutter “i ain’t afraid of no ghosts” and dean would laugh until he woke up sam
